This year's conference is geared towards discussing the Obama administration's efforts to achieve federal health care reform, as well as ways to implement health reform in California under federal legislation.
Included in the discussions will be a proposal for a renewed hospital-financing waiver to cover more of the state's uninsured. The aim is to increase knowledge, discussion and action towards meaningful and sustainable health care reform that cuts costs, covers more of the uninsured and better integrates the health care system to improve health outcomes.
