The health care reform bill under debate on Capitol Hill is still years away from having an impact, but real reform is already well underway – it’s called “Consumerism.” Consumerism - in which consumers take personal responsibility for their health purchases rather than perpetuating the “blank check” mentality - may be the key to capping soaring health care costs and offers a powerful alternative to government-run solutions.
